St. Patrick's HomeFront Ministry

The primary aim of HomeFront Day is to make warm, safe and dry the homes of some of our less fortunate neighbors who due to health, age or financial constraints are unable to do so themselves, All work done on HomeFront Day is done by teams of volunteers and is done at no cost to the homeowner.

Since the St. Patrick's HomeFront Day teams did their first home in 2001, we have successfully renovated 4 - 5 homes each year. We have replace windows, doors, bathroom fixtures and kitchen cabinets. Damaged floors and walls have been repaired, handicap ramps have been built and homes have been painted inside and out.

HomeFront Day takes place each year on the first Saturday in May. Volunteers are always needed for this one day "hands on" project. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level. Please call the Rectory Office at 860-2411 if you would like to participate in this worthwhile endeavor or if you know of someone who could possibly be a candidate for our help.
